Registered Occupational Therapist
Eric completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia in 2017 and then completed his Master of Occupational Therapy degree from UBC in 2019. He was able to gain fieldwork experiences in a student run neuromuscular outpatient clinic, a student run community mental health clinic, home and community, a stroke unit and his final placement was in a private practice community setting. His prior experience working as a hospital security officer and his experiences with mental health clients at the hospital is what set him on the path to become an occupational therapist.
Eric has developed interests in cognitive rehabilitation and mental health. His UBC MOT Capstone research project involved the development of a cognitive resource manual for occupational therapists to use with persons with Multiple Sclerosis.
Eric’s personal interests include martial arts (Wing Tsun Kung Fu), basketball, volleyball and spending time with family.
