Cynthia has been practicing since 2001. She focuses her private practice on medical legal assessments, which includes Functional Capacity Evaluations and Cost of Future Care Assessments. She has served as an expert witness for the Supreme Court of British Columbia in these areas since 2010. Cynthia is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.

In addition to Cynthia’s medical legal practice, she works as a clinical occupational therapist at GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre in Vancouver, BC. Presently, she works in the Spinal Cord Injury Program, however she also has clinical experience in assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries and other neurological conditions. Her extensive clinical experience working with individuals who have complicated musculoskeletal and neurological medical conditions and injuries has strengthened her skills as a work capacity and care analysis assessor. Specifically in relation to her work in spinal cord injuries, Cynthia is the one of a few occupational therapists in British Columbia who work clinically in a specialized spinal cord injury program who also does medical legal assessments.
