Laura completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology at Acadia University in 2017 prior to completing her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Dalhousie University in 2019. She has experience in a wide range of practice settings including conducting functional capacity evaluations, job site analyses, ergonomic assessments, outpatient management of acute hand injuries, acute care settings, community mental health, and return to work services. She has experience and training in prolonged exposure therapy, progressive goal attainment program, and anxiety interventions.

For the past 3 years, Laura has focused her clinical skills in community occupational therapy services for a variety of referral services, encompassing assessment and treatment of physical injuries, brain injuries, and mental health conditions. This includes return to work focused treatment, development and monitoring of graduated return to work programs, and job coaching.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys exploring all of what the West Coast has to offer, including running, hiking, biking and playing various sports.
