Mike worked initially in the hospital setting in pediatric burn trauma and pediatric ICU. He then moved to private practice with a wide variety of patient populations. He has worked in the field of return to work support services: developing return to work plans, job monitoring and, job site visits to assist the rehabilitating worker in their specific work environment.  

Mike recently retired as a professional fire fighter after a sixteen year career. His work as a physical therapist and emergency service worker gives him a perspective both as a worker in a physically and mentally demanding job and, a clinician tasked with assessing job requirements and the client’s abilities. 

Mike participates in a wide range of outdoor activities in addition to being a middle to back of the pack-age grouper in marathons and triathlons.
