Mike worked initially in the hospital setting in pediatric burn trauma and pediatric ICU. He then moved to private practice with a wide variety of patient populations. He has worked in the field of return to work support services: developing return to work plans, job monitoring and, job site visits to assist the rehabilitating worker in their specific work environment.  

From 2002 to 2018 Mike was also a professional fire fighter. This experience gives him a perspective both as a worker in a physically and mentally demanding job and a clinician tasked with assessing job requirements and the client’s abilities.

Mike participates in a wide range of outdoor activities.
