Occupational Therapists Needed – Lower Mainland & Nanaimo

We have an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join either our Lower Mainland or our Nanaimo practice group in either a full time or part time employment capacity. We prefer candidates to have at least two years of experience providing return to work rehabilitation services and functional capacity evaluations and three years of experience providing community rehabilitation.

Kinesiologist Needed - Lower Mainland

We have an opportunity for a Kinesiologist to join our Lower Mainland group in either a full time or part time contractor capacity.  We prefer candidates to have the following skills and experience:

—A degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics

—Member in good standing with BCAK inclusive of Professional Liability Insurance

—Valid CPR & First Aid Certificate

—Valid Driver’s Licence

—At least one year of experience providing return to work services, exercise prescription, rehab assistant services, or community rehabilitation services

—Certifications (FMS)

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

—Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team context

—Set functional goals with clients with collegial input;

—Provide one on one education during treatment sessions in clinic and in the community;

—Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments;

—Conduct job site visits and develop return to work plans

—Perform functional testing/evaluation and job demands analyses

Physical Therapist - Richmond & Surrey

We are seeking Physical Therapists to join our practice group in either full-time or part-time contractor/associate capacities in two new locations in East Richmond (Annacis Island area) and Surrey (Central City across from Surrey Memorial Hospital)

Clinical duties/responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

— Evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions;

— Timely written and/or oral communication of assessment findings and treatment outcomes with referring physicians, other health care professionals and stake holders;

— Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to multi-task and prioritize daily caseloads with a customer service mindset;

— An active role in promoting the company through excellent service and in-person participation in marketing/community/continuing education events;

— An active role devising innovative practice and transdisciplinary services for a variety of customers – industry employers, WSBC, ICBC, LTD insurers, the general public

We prefer candidates to have at least two (2) years of private practice experience and/or specialty training (i.e., FCAMPT, IMS, CAFCI and ISM).
