Beth Inglis BSc KIN, BScOT
Registered Occupational Therapist
Beth commenced her studies in the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science. After working as a Rehabilitation Consultant, Beth went on to pursue occupational therapy and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2000. Beth is a duly qualified registered Occupational Therapist licensed to practice in the Province of British Columbia. Beth has completed courses in cognitive rehabilitation and cost of future care / life care planning. Beth has extensive experience working with clients with chronic pain, orthopaedic injuries, traumatic brain injury, and mental health disorders. Beth has been providing occupational therapy and case management services for private insurers, lawyers, employers and ICBC since 2004. She is proficient in hospital discharge / home assessments, worksite and ergonomic evaluations, developing and implementing return to work programs, client education, cognitive rehabilitation, cost of future care analysis and case management.
Beth has been accepted as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of British Columbia in the field of Cost of Future Care analysis and is currently a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Beth’s interests outside of work include playing soccer, cycling, running, and hiking. She actively pursues health and wellness initiatives around food, mind-body, and healthy aging. Beth’s interests inform and influence her practice as an occupational therapist.
