Job Demand Analyses
Job Demands Analyses document the physical and/or cognitive demands of a job. This process includes:
• Attending the work site to interview an incumbent worker
• Reviewing and documenting the critical physical and cognitive demands of the job
• Observing the worker(s) perform the job
• Taking objective measures of physical components (loads, distances, forces, repetitions)
Reports iterate specific physical and/or cognitive job demands to assist physicians and clinicians when making return to work decisions and assist stakeholders for claims management purposes.
