Rimsha Choudhry BSc. (Kinesiology & Co-operative Education)
Rimsha completed her Bachelor of Science degree in the department of Biomedical Physiology & Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University in 2016. Her clinical experience began with the Occupational Rehabilitation programs (OR1/OR2) where she was involved with completing functional assessments, prescribing exercises, leading education sessions as well as conducting hydrotherapy, work simulation, and circuit programs. Rimsha obtained additional experience working in acute care as well as performing SureHire occupational drug and alcohol testing. Soon after this she worked with Alberta Health Services to pursue ergonomic related work.
Rimsha also worked with the Disability Management Institute where she gained case management experience, specifically related to non-occupational injuries. Rimsha is currently applying her skills with Re:Function’s RTWSS program which involves conducting job site visits in order to implement appropriate return to work programs for injured workers. Outside of work Rimsha loves to bike along the Stanley Park seawall, eat ice cream, and pursue her travel goals. She also loves spending time with her family which often involves engaging in fun-loving debates with her husband and convincing her brother that she’s the favourite child.
